Animal Crossings= Middle School, but Better

I know i’m not the only one who bought a Nintendo Switch specifically to play Animal Crossings: New Horizons. Well… I definitely do not regret my decision. I’m so glad it released during quarantine.

I honest am not the most advanced AC player, but St Hearts (my island) is coming along, if I must say so myself. My island started with pears, which I have learned is the most disliked AC fruit. People have actually restarted their game just to avoid pears. I don’t mind the pears because my goal is to steal all the other fruits from other islands. So far I have pears, peaches, coconuts, & bamboo. If anyone reading this has cherries or apples, please don’t hesitate to let me visit your island :)

The Animal Crossings franchise reminds me of the simpler times when I’d play on my DS. I had a full house of characters and was forever trying to get Tom Nook’s store upgraded. New Horizon has the majority of the things I loved about the OG, plus more. Thank goodness for Twitter. I learn all kinds of secrets within the game. Twitter also makes me realize how terrible at this game I am. Scrolling on twitter has me wondering:

Should I attempt to recreating album covers for my wall art?

Am I lame that my AC character isn’t inappropriate?

Should my AC character be naked?

Anyways, I’m having fun as Jade X in St Hearts. I can’t wait to see how my island develops and all the fun new characters. Add me if you want to play together!
